Any chance the Discovery will accidentally jump into the Kelvin universe?

Unless they travel in time season one of STD is set in 2255, which is three years before the events of ST:2009 which took place in 2258. I wonder what would be happening in the kelvin universe at this time that would be worth seeing onscreen. The Enterprise has not even been built yet.

Part of me hopes they don't visits the kelvin universe because knowing what the producers of STD are like they will redesign everything. They have already ruined the prime universe and the mirror universe, so leave the kelvin universe alone, damn it.

Speaking a little tongue-in-cheek here, but I say they should retroactively declare DSC to be in an alternate timeline, separate from the Prime Timeline... and then... if the Viacom/CBS (re)merger happens, do a Crisis of the Infinite Earths-like storyline and blend of all the timelines. Say that 'Q' did it. :)
