Any chance the Discovery will accidentally jump into the Kelvin universe?

What would be the point? I think it would just be confusing for most viewers.

Would it be to fulfill the need of some fans to somehow explain the visual reboot? Because that definitely isn't something that needs to be honored.

If they went to the Kelvin-verse, the lens flare would probably kill any Terrans almost instantaneously.
Hmm, perhaps if Lorca fails in his coup, he could jump to another universe to start over again, only this time he ends up in the Kelvin timeline, and their bright lights instantly cause him to keel over.

[I read Discovery will jump or otherwise return to prime verse just before BOBS with Burnham retaining he memories of season 1, but others not. Georgiou gets her the command of Discovery. Any canon issues resolved ](depending on your point of view of course)

So the first season of Trek in over a decade ends with
None of it ever happened
Yeah, that'll go down well:lol:

Oh, like Enterprise ;)
Voyager seems to have got away with it, not at time obviously, but twenty years later, Voyager is, ahem, the paragon of quality Telly to which Discovery should aspire, or something.

As for a jump to the Kelvin verse, why not? Sounds like fun. Wouldn’t want them to linger too much though,

They will end up in Fluidic Space and have an encounter with species 8472.

As to KelvinVerse, I don't know. Is there another Discovery in that universe?

Oh, like Enterprise ;)
I really hope they don't end the season with some absurd reset button like that.

It's not likely to happen...right now. If the recent rumors of a potential CBS/Paramount re-merger under the Viacom umbrella are true, there's a better-than-average chance that it could happen.

Should it, though? I'm on the fence with that one.

I'm ok with any ending as long as it involves people inhaling copious amounts of drugs around John de Lancie while he yells "GUILTY AS CHARGED!".
