Do you mean a convention? There was one last weekend in Bournemouth - SF Ball 15. They are running another next year, and later this year is Reunion.

I can't recommed SF Ball highly enough. They always put on a great weekend - lots to do, good guests and great evening entertainment. I'm sure that Reunion is a good con, too, if a little smaller.
