Anton Yelchin has died

He was a nice dude. Loved him in Alpha Dog and Terminator Salvation and both of his Treks. Was/am really looking forward to seeing him in Beyond but just feel really sad now. RIP

Ditto. Sorry to say those were the only films I'd seen him in but he was great in all of them. Alpha Dogs was a tough watch anyway, mostly down to his performance, I don't think I'll ever watch that again now.

Man, this is going to be tough on his cast mates who are going to start the marketing interview process (talk show appearances) for Beyond soon. Having to go out on the road with the passing of your friend & co-star so recent? RIP Anton, you will be missed.

Condolences to his family and friends. So tragic to see such a young man killed my a freak accident like that. RIP.

I went to see the "Wrath of Khan" with fellow trekkies at the Air and Space museum yesterday. It was a great day, I hadn't been with a group in a long time. It was amazing as ever. Then I got home, got online only to see the news of Anton's death. It just threw me for a loop. So sad. He was so young, an only child (I found out his parents were figure skaters for the Soviet Union. I looked up their pics and I remember seeing them when I watched the Olympic games) I want to offer my sympathies to his parents, the rest of his family and to all his friends and co stars. He will be missed. RIP

At first, I thought that it was a stupid joke. However,I wish it was when CNN confirmed it ...
He was just too young..
On behalf of Chinese trekkers I admire him for his enthusiasm..

This is:weep: such sad and tragic news. I first thought it was a bad joke when I read the news on Blastr yesterday.

Damn! He made a fine Chekov and he's the only reason I enjoyed Terminator: Salvation. What a shame...

What a shame. I haven't followed his career too closely but I enjoyed him in the Trek movies and Fright Night remake. I was expecting to see much more of him in years to come. RIP.
