What the hell is CBS going to achieve that? People not being able to watch ther promotional material? Good strategy...

But then again, it's CBS. They don't even make their content (aka the "Short Treks") legally available outside the US. Ugh.

Yeah, that really bugs me, I can watch DSC but not it's spin off
 
Calling "Short Treks" a "spin-off" is suuuper cheeky though. They use the same actors, in the same costumes, on the same sets, with the same filming crew from Discovery.

It only has "the potential" to one day maaaaybe not be a direct part of Discovery. But right now: It fucking IS. And that means Netflix has already paid for it. Not letting Netflix show it, is really only a seperate entity in some weird lawyers' version of "reality".
