I'm rewatching this and the parts of s2 I didn't like before are growing on me somewhat.

Dan Gilroy just won an Emmy for Andor and he said "we have friends everywhere".

Finally some godsdamn recognition!

If there was only one thing I wanted this show to be acknowledged by the Emmys, it's for the writing.

Much like how I was so damn happy that The Americans won for best writing for its series finale.

Andor is the first Star Wars show to win an Emmy for the ‘Best Writing’ category.

So after the dust has settled Andor won Emmys for writing, production design, costumes, picture editing and visual effects, while also being nominated for 6 others it didn't win: Whitaker for guest actor, Tudyk for voice-over, cinematography, music composition, sound editing and sound mixing. Of course as they say it is an honor just to be nominated.

In other news The Acolyte didn't win the one Emmy (sound editing) it was nominated for.
