If there was only one thing I wanted this show to be acknowledged by the Emmys, it's for the writing.

Much like how I was so damn happy that The Americans won for best writing for its series finale.

So after the dust has settled Andor won Emmys for writing, production design, costumes, picture editing and visual effects, while also being nominated for 9 others it didn't win: drama series, directing, Whitaker for guest actor, Tudyk for voice-over, cinematography, music composition, music and lyrics, sound editing and sound mixing. Of course as they say it is an honor just to be nominated.

In other news The Acolyte didn't win the one Emmy (sound editing) it was nominated for.

Fantastic and well-deserved win. I definitely think a couple actors should at least have been nominated and I'm still salty about that, but this is a huge win for an outstanding series.
