I'm honestly a bit mystified as to how Scorpion made it to air trading on the "it's all a true story" angle when Walter O'Brien's narrative of his life (he's a 197-IQ genius hacker who got his "Scorpion" handle from busting out some sweet karate moves on the schoolyard bullies of his childhood, and now runs a multi-billion dollar super-team of geniuses who battle terrorism) is
so obviously a fantasy.
I mean, it could be an entertaining fantasy, don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a fun show for what it is. But burdening it with a "true story" angle that's evidently bound to crumble seems like CBS shooting themselves in the foot.
