So Headland's bold and innovative new direction for Star Wars, venturing further away from the live-action timeline we'd ever been, was... a straight-up table-setting exercise for the Prequel Trilogy? Gee, I can't imagine why her series was mostly received with yawns and indifference. :p

And oh, the surprising and novel characters we've been denied!

Being angry is more fun than enjoyment of a franchise. Mockery more fun than engagement.

Engagement and enjoyment are not synonyms, and criticism is a form of engagement. You're not entitled to rewrite the English language just because you don't like what others are saying. :rommie:

We are getting Qimir in the Vintage Collection in the upcoming wave with Shaak Ti and AOTC Padmé in her white Tatooine and Geonosis outfit. Whatever one thinks of The Acolyte as a series the news that he's coming in 3.75" format and the fact he just got released as a 6" Black Series figure shows the character himself has more than enough popularity to justify pushing his collectables in a current toy environment with lots of fan dissatisfaction over both the Disney+ streaming content and rising toy prices.

Qimir will be a $19.99 figure in the U.S., a three dollar increase from what he would have sold for until this month.

Why the price increase?

I'm sure they'll claim labor costs in China and Vietnam and fallout from the recent tariffs, but more likely than not it's corporate greed. Black Series increased three dollars per figure as well, the average figure rising from $24.99 to $27.99.

If he's that popular he should get a second season! :D

Interesting that the Maul figure has the logo for the Maul Shadow Lord TV series on its packaging.
