Alien races you think should be main or recurring characters

Not sure where the various plots could take them, but I was always a bit partial to those of TOS’s The Body of Landru.

1) The Fabrini. I'd love to explore the idea of an entire race that owes its survival to Starfleet now being Federation members and very enthusiastic about joining Starfleet. Plus it would instantly destroy the idea that all those background extras who get no make-up must be Humans which would greatly reduce how Human-centric Starfleet feels.

2) Chameloids. Let's see some shapeshifters that aren't founders (or evil) for once.

3) Enderprizians. I just want to see someone like Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Pike, etc, have to deal with this hilarious culture.

Technically speaking, the Hysperians are humans, but their culture is different enough that I'd love to see more exploration of it.

And i would LOVE to see a Hysperian ship in live-action. :adore:

Ohh

I'm not usually into the aliens who looked just like humans (Guinan aside) but I guess they're technically human, so sure

Assuming it wasn't her true form, whatever species Martia's "femme fatale" persona was based on.

Assuming one exists.

I just thought Martia was simply ordered to pose as human, since she was part of the conspiracy to get Kirk and McCoy killed.
