Alien, Predator, AvP (news)

That's just a 'fan' trailer.

In the description, "Take a look at our 'Full Trailer' concept for 20th Century Fox & Hulu movie Alien: Romulus"

This came up in another thread recently, but all of Screen Culture's trailers are fake. The way I make sure it's watching the real trailer is that it's either on either the studios releasing the movie's YouTube page or Rotten Tomatoes Trailers.

Think it said between the first and second movie.. timeline. Isolation game maybe?

Had a thought.
When LV 426 .. Hadleys hope went nuclear .. was the juggernaut ship in the blast area? It was quite far away when newt went to. Past a mountain range. Nukes aren't that big.

Unless Ripley nuked it from orbit.. but nothing has been cannon about that. But doubt she wouldn't remember

Almost certainly so. Even if Alan Dean Foster's adaptation hadn't also implied it. Then there's Bishop's Nebraska reference.

Romulus is probably the ship the crew is on.
You say that like nobody had a choice.
"Welp I don't know what to tell you! The ship is called Romulus. That's that. It's our movie's title now. It's not like I can pick literally anything else; I'm just the writer here after all!"

Maybe, but it's probably still thematically linked to the movie's story. They did that with Prometheus, it was both the name of the ship, and also tied into the theme of the Prometheus crew going to far in their attempt to contact the Engineers.

After the events of the Aeneid, Rome (allegedly) was founded by an individual raised by a she-wolf:

So this might be about folks trying to found a colony…or an abandoned individual finding a new family—something along those lines.

Alien: Covenant had images inspired by one of the paintings called “Isle of the Dead” —not the Warhammer version :)

Cormac McCarthy’s anti-Western…a story of violent attacks along a border, therefore had the name “Blood Meridian.”

You can’t always deduce the contents of a film by its title of course.

Question:
In aliens.. could a Wayland Yutani ship have beat the Sullaco to LV-426? I suppose they do have there own ships and with the info from Ripley I would think they would race a ship there to gather material. With Burke being just some mid management flunky telling Hadleys Hope to go search. The company not caring what happens to the colony. Also okaying Burkes Marines plan to put a good spin on the public side knowing they probably be killed. But not counting on Ripley
