Spoilers Agents of SHIELD- The Final Season Discussion

Haley was 29 in 2011.

Lets put the first movie in 1941.

S.H.I.E.L.D.'s New York Mission is in 1931, so if Haley and Peggy are the same age, then Margret is 19.

We need to recast.

I really liked the episode. I want more Peggy as well but I think it would also be cool if we saw Tony' Stark's dad again and Toby Jones character since they are going to be doing stuff with Hydra. What if the twisted reveal at some point is that one of the reasons Hydra was able to get inside Shield in the future is because of them working with them in the past via this season. Also I got a prediction. When the season ends the Coulson LMN stays in the past where he will continue to help out Peggy and others over time.

Peggy was active with SSR/SHIELD from 1943 to the 1990's, right?

Since the season's being advertised as hopping forward through history - with at least one stop at some timeline's past version of the Triskelion...

They are 100% not going to spend the whole season in 1931. For one thing they specifically mentioned certain "windows" for the time jumps, so clearly they're going to be moving on. Also, the key art/poster for this season has some decidedly 60's elements. Peggy in the 1960's certainly sounds like a fun possibility...I mean at this point it's one of the last decades Atwell *hasn't* played Peggy in.

This was a really good start to the season.
The Freddy twist was a nice surprise I did not see coming.
Very curious what is up with May, I'm hoping it's just a temporary instability from the process that healed her and not possession or something like that.
Loved seeing Patton Oswald back as another Koenig. So was he #4 or #5?

Glad I'm not the only one who liked the opening episode!

This will be (a) blast trough the past with those jump windows. Allows fan favorite characters and/or stories to be shown :)
Peggy & Jarvis :D

I *adore* Patton Oswalt... Oswalt--with a "T," btw. Just watched his latest Netflix special. His riff about how Denny's should advertise was hilarious.

I *really* want to know how the gangster Grandfather Koenig fits in the picture with Eric, Billy, Sam, Thurston and..what was big sister's name? L. T?

Agree with the consensus that this was a great season opener. And like others, I meant to at least watch the season 6 finale again but didn’t. Where was that “previously on,” which I usually skip, when I needed it?

I like the season premise, stopping the Chronicoms from preventing establishment of SHIELD. Yes, the little twist away from FDR was cool. I just saw a doc on FDR’s life and I think the actor did did a good job. I was hoping they’d show him with his head tilted back slightly which was a problem prior to his running for POTUS because it made him look like he was “looking down” on people. Alas, that little detail was missing. His little encounter with Coulson was a highlight for me.

Only thing I found a bit weak was Patton Oswald, which is a surprise, because I’v always loved him. He just didn’t do it for me as a crime boss. Where was his New York accent? Hopefully we’ll see later versions of him that are more appropriate for Patton.

Is the entire line of Malicks weaselly?
