Sweet! I was hoping he would return in the (presumably) final season. I likewise hope Palicki is able to return.

The reviews for the Orville, while not as bad as Inhumans, are not very good. Perhaps the show will get canned early and free her up.

Yeah, that would be fun to watch but I doubt we'll see it anytime soon. Maybe after Agents of SHIELD is completely over as an extra for the complete series set. At the earliest.
I've been thinking they could maybe turn it into an AoS episode by putting a brief frame around it and presenting it as a flashback, like maybe Hunter explaining what he and Bobbi were up to while they were gone. Xena did that once with a failed spinoff pilot.
Oh, that would be interesting as long as it fits with the narrative flow of the season. Certainly would allow us to see the episode sooner than I speculated earlier.
They could call it... "The Menagerie".
Great news. Love 'loose cannon' Lance. Now, as soon as The Orville is canceled, we'll get Adrianne back, just in time for season 6 of AoS.
I'd like to see Adrianne Palicki back, too, but I'm kind of hoping that Orville will succeed. 
I just finished shield, and really liked this season.
Why do you hate mack? I think he is a great character.
And the fight with Daisy and ghostrider against Aida and her minions were ok, I could only think, why didn't the ghostrider first attack Aida instead of her minions.
Say what you will about THE MOUSE, but we have him to thank for AoS S5. Corporate synergy at its finest!
This really doesn't surprise me. Despite the quality of S4, the numbers just weren't there and I was as surprised as anyone when the show got renewed.

Hopefully they have a plan to end the show in Season 5 if they can't get consistent support from ABC. It would suck if the show was cancelled without any kind of closure.
It's not a surprise. ABC changed leadership, which soured them on things.
However, if Disney is actively supporting things, one would hope that they can arrange for a little more synergy between film and TV show.

That would be nice. I'd personally like to see Coulson in a movie again. Unlike what Joss Whedon seemed to think, even casual fans could easily accept Coulson showing up in a movie. A single line could do it. Hell, its as easy as
Tony: I thought you were dead.
Coulson: I got better.
At this point its not like the Avengers would break up because his inspirational death didn't stick, and we've seen such crazy stuff in the MCU that people probably wouldn't even bat an eye out of someone being alive, and if they cared at all its just an easy google away. If its just a cameo it wouldn't matter if some people didn't know he hadn't stayed dead.
I doubt this will happen, but it would be nice. An AOS cameo in Infinity War would be mind blowing.
