Well, so Peck was asked at PaleyFest if there have been discussions about him and Mount and Romjin continuing on aboard the Enterprise, at least maybe in an upcoming "Short Trek" episode (which last idea seems like a no-brainer, really, given that they've spent all that money on the necessary assets).
Peck's response was to laugh and reply "I can't say."
