Love it, but. We gotta tie "possum" in to the theme. Substituting "possum" for "kitty" works, but I do not know what sound a Possum makes?

Ok, I tried to be a careful and critical reader of those links above, and what I think I understand is that, from now on, our discourse is going to become a lot simpler.
List of Allowed Conversational Words/Phrases Between People:
Hello, How are you?
I am well. ("fine" might imply an appearance judgement)
Have a good day.
You have a good day, too.
I am sure there are more, but I racked my brain.
Asking about family or job or health is, of course, right out, because of the possible replies translating into "No Job", "No Family/Bad Family/Too Much Family", "Bad Health", and the like...
You can all come up with your own warning/danger areas, but at least there wont be those people blocking the door droning on about inanities and stupidities (whoops, micro aggression regarding potential intellect!)
Man, this is gonna take some getting used to!

I'm trying to put into words that it's better to not take offence too easily without saying "grow a thicker skin"... these pin-prick, as you said, can get to you, I know.
But I think it's a bit unfair to those people to ascribe their ignorance to bigotry when they are unaware of the offence that is taken.
That's why it is so important - as annoying, tedious and repetitious as that always is - to talk to those people. If they react with wilful ignorance then, yes, it's clearly a case of bigotry.
If they are understanding... well, the sexist, racism, homophobia that people have internalized won't go away over night. Personal, direct interaction with people will erode it, though, even if it is just one person at a time - that's what I hope, at least.
See, I'm not even sure why we are debating, because I agree with all that and wouldn't say otherwise...

@Pondwater, @HIjol, @Timewalker, and anyone else who wants to color at my house, that would be awesome! Coloring books, crafts, and just having fun!
On a side note, I try very hard to be a safe space everywhere I go. Anyone can approach me and not fear that I will judge them based on their gender, orientation, or physical ability. Everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin, and know that they won't be judged merely for being who they are.
