I guess the nostalgia factor wears off after a few hours; by then those people will have realised that they've flushed their hard-earned money down the toilet.
Guess it is like the Old Days, when fans of those Role Play cards would sit around and play and offer huge sums of money for the "rares"...they loved it and didn't think it was silly or a waste of money. I remember being offered $90 for the "Future Enterprise" card I had. In the mid-80s! When She first came out, the first Hallmark "Enterprise" ornament was going for $1000, resell. It is all relative, I reckon.
tea, you made me laugh right out loud. You can do either of those things in AP-S, but the other kids will tell on you, and Miss Willow will make you sit "Time-Out" for Games, and eat your Snackie by yourself. Plus, Bobby Pearson will tell everyone you are a StinkButt! But I will help you get him back! 'Cause I saw him EAT HIS OWN BUGERS! I did in the coat room! So we can tell everybody he is a Big Fat Buger Eater! And I will swear I saw him eating! Eeww! And he likes that new girl, Jennie. So we can tell her he wants to eat her BUGERS! 'K?
No, I think you confuse something here; this is about a kindergarten for adults not a safe-space in a university.
Don't be absurd. *sets giant cardboard box up on stick, puts plate of Twinkies underneath, and tapes sign emblazoned with the words "FREE SNAKS" on the front of the box*
All joking aside, I really would love to get my friends together, and just sit on the floor and color. Nothing says you can't do that as an adult.
I'd love to charge people a couple of hundred bucks to come color at my house. Heck, I wouldn't mind charging somebody 10 bucks to color at my house. I got lots of kids toys, they can even take one or two as a parting gift.
Can we do this with chores, too? I want people to pay me hundreds of dollars a week for the privilege of washing my dishes and doing my laundry. Come on, bring back that feeling of childhood responsibility! And I'll even pay you a quarter for each chore done properly.
The one thing I did in childhood that I wish I could repeat today: get up at 6 AM every Saturday to watch Super Friends first-run episodes.
