Actors/actresses that you would like to see in Trek

So.
I occasionally see an actor or an actress, usually one that hasn't been in to many things and think .. They'd do good in a trek show.

One that initiated this is Neil McDonough. The one who played Lt Hawk in First contact.
He's a great actor, and thought .. He'd make a good captain or Admiral on Strange New Worlds. Maybe an ancestor to Lt Hawk. Or maybe Robert April.?? That would be good.

Any other people youd like to see in a trek series?

Wes Studi as Robert April.
Tika Sumpter as anybody.
Tom Hanks as any character he wants to play.
Kelly Hu as anyone.
Joan Cusack, maybe as a Romulan.
Chiwetel Ejiofor as anyone.
Tasia Zala as anybody.
Jaime Camil as whoever the most handsome character in the galaxy is.

I would like to see Trek lean heavily into genre casting.So alumni of BSG,Stargate,X-files, B5 etc.(lots of Canadian talent available).
Plus Michael Ironside.And Lance Henriksen.And Kyle McLachlan.

I missed the bit @valkyrie013 said to pick relatively unknown actors but a man can dream. If I had few hundred million dollars to make a new Trek movie I'd hire them and Paul Verhoeven as director.

But for me it's actors that really haven't had a break or new, or someone it's been awhile since they had a good role.

Speaking of a Picard replacement, I kept thinking of Vincent Cassel when I was reading the ST: Picard prequel novel The Last Best Hope.

It's a good question. I've seen him do variations of the Badmiral in Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, The Boys and The Mandalorian too. It'd be interesting to see him cast against type.

Make him a Captain in a future show!
