I have a feeling Slumdog will get best picture. You sort of get that feeling about a movie about this far into the show. MY best picture this year is still The Dark Knight, though.
That Dark Knight wasn't at least NOMINATED is a joke.

I really think Slumdog deserves it. It was an amazing film. Milk was awesome, too.
I loved The Dark Knight, too. Heck, I would have nominated it instead of the Reader! There were so damned many good movies this year.
And Jai Ho from Slumdog wins!
Newman and Gabriel will both get other chances, I'm sure. They're both brilliant and fairly young...there are a lot of future movies that will need original scores/songs!
