Perhaps Cumberbatch as Khan will become more controversial in years to come. Was it that hard to get Benico Del Toro or Javier Barhem or Edgar Ramirez etc? And an explanation in an obscure comic doesn't really cut it ( needed to be in the movie.)

I can see the irony of using either a White Hispanic actor instead of a White Anglo actor.mmmm

I wonder if in years to come, technical advances in SFX will mean we go from Peter Cushing having a sizable but largely stationary role in Rogue One, to a running, jumping, Starfleet Admiral headpoppin' CG Ricardo Montalban replacing Benedict Cumberbatch.

Actually screw that. Why hasn't anybody already lifted clips from Fantasy Island, and assorted TV guest roles pasted them over BC and uploaded it to YouTube NOW!
