A public apology to Mutai

I was wrong. Once my conscious got the better of me and I tried to apologize in my 'jerk mod' thread, it was closed. I have not enough postings in order to personally apologize to Mutai, so I will do it here.

I am not doing this to remein on the BBS. My fate is sealed on that matter. I am doing this because I was wrong.

Is there some subtext here that I'm not seeing? It's pretty big of someone to own up with a public apology. And particularly if he knows he's still banned.

Well it seems to me...and I guess I'll issue a public apology if I'm wrong or something...that Cyclist came here just to kick up fuss and the "public apology" is less that and more an "everyone continue to look at me" excercise...which is why it's here and not in misc or something...

No. Does it not make more sense to aoologize in the forum in which you erred? Otherwise, nobody knows the context.

Also, it it possible to receive 'attention' with the anonymity of the internet?

This is the Forum he posted the hateful accusation thread in, and he says he tried apologizing in that thread, but, by the time he saw the light, it was locked.

For the record, I think the accusation thread was way over the top, and way out of line, but, don't beat up on the poster even more for something he did do right. I also concede Konservative is very likely to be another Username started by Cyclist.

And then there was this, which I suspect was meant to be posted by Konservative.

When I had troublesome insomnia in the mid-1980s I'd use videotapes of TOS to lull me to sleep - just turned my face away from the TV and listened.

Thing is, I'd watched each episode so many times that nothing in the audio would pique my curiosity - I knew exactly what was going on and what was about to happen, so I could use it as relaxing noise.

Prolly opening a can o' worms here but....'bills' do not create jobs. Demand for a product or service does. 'Jobs bills' are a fairly recent phenomenon. Business/Businesses create jobs.
