A nice, long, cold shower.

In the summer if I'm going out in the evening or have just gotten home from work I'll start out with lukewarm water and gradually remove the heat. Cold showers feel great when it's 110F outside.

I can't take a cold shower. Not even a cool shower, or lukewarm shower. It has to be at least warm, if not hot.

A nice cold shower after a workout during a searing hot day is the best thing ever.
I completely disagree. If I'm going to subject myself to cold water, it better in a swimming pool where my body can actually adjust to the temperature.

Over where I'm from cold water from the tap is actually not ice cold because the weather is never ice cold. So perhaps the problem is my perception of what a cold shower is.

I like a hot shower.

This morning, the second half ended up being a lukewarm shower. Turns out my boiler broke down overnight. I think the PCB needs changing, and I can't get it fixed at the weekend.

Fortunately, I have an immersion heater too so tomorrow morning's shower shouldn't be cold. Fingers crossed! Had to go out and buy a fan heater though today (the boiler powers the central heating as well).

I had no hot water for a good chunk of a year in my old apartment, so I'm very familiar with ice cold showers. Not fun, esp in winter.

In the summer, I like a cool shower though if I'm really hot.
