When I read in the Walking Dead comics that Carl was the one who killed Shane to keep him from killing his father, it made me wonder what would have happened if the TV show had taken the direction. That, during Rick and Shane’s confrontation in the field, Carl had shown up earlier, seeing that his father was in danger, and felt compelled to kill Shane before he did anything to Rick. How do you think that would have changed the end of Season 2 or events in Season 3 for that matter?
