A CGI tour of some Star Trek TOS locations

The music credit on the video is wrong. It claims the music is by George Duning, but the cues used there are from Alexander Courage's score for "The Man Trap."

The only really interesting bit was the reconstruction of the Eminian city. If the whole thing had been CG reconstructions of the matte-painting locations like that, the Rigel fortress, the lithium-cracking station, and the like, that could've been very interesting.

Beautiful! Very nice tribute to the art direction of Walter Matt Jefferies! Haven't seen his work compiled and illustrated in such "moving" fashion before. :techman:

GREAT visuals!! I would love to see detailed versions of the shuttle interior, whatever layout you imagine for the Klingon bridge, etc.

Now if the models were released as "mods" for one's favorite game engine, one could do walk-throughs. Holodeck, anyone? Heck, it would make a cool "augmented reality" app for a smart phone.
