That's not the standard saucer on the front cover of #1... for that you have to see the back cover, which I didn't post the first time: :D

It was the Croatians. Their pronunciation of the name "Croat" was adopted by the French (who employed many Croatian mercenaries around the time of Louis XIV) as "cravat", the French taking a liking to the neckscarves worn by the mercs.
 
Well, he could play son of Straker. I'd rather see what's become of the "UFO-verse" in the intervening years. :cool:
