Is it explained in the episode how three nuclear weapons could destroy the moon. I mean, like, humans have nuked the Earth many times over and the Earth is still here.
Horrible science

Well, it is just a hollow egg...
So was the whole "Tell her she's special" thing just a Britishism or what. Seems to me that people telling Courtney that she's a special snowflake is part of the reason she's such an annoying brat.

And I imagine nukes are even more powerful 25 years from now.
My only complaint is Clara flipping out on the Doctor at the end like that.

I agree that it was humanity's decision and she should've always known he was coming back, but then the episode's drama would've been nil.My only complaint is Clara flipping out on the Doctor at the end like that. I don't see the big deal about him making humanity decide what to do instead of him.
There's that too, yeah. It was probably due to a lot of things building over the season, and came to a head in this episode. He's no longer someone she knows. Before, like in the Christmas Special, he did things like lie and leave her behind, but with the 12th Doctor there are trust issues creeping in. "I don't know who the Doctor is anymore," etc.I get the sense that Clara is flipping out not for having to make the decision but that she doesn't trust the Doctor that she had to make that decision, that he wasn't just toying with her knowing the answer all along.
