heh, I was so inspired to post about the full borg version and nobody seems to care.
Has any of the costumes showed up at auctions? are any pictures online?

meh, I think there are much better dumb movies but that speech is really awesome. And I did enjoy how excited very young people were over this movie because it was, touchingly, their first kind of awesome but also super dumb movie.
I thought it was great, very confrontrational. The baldness, the obvious femaleness underneath all the bondage bolts. Also Jeri being so terrified and lost and angry in that outfit.
As a 15 year old viewer, I appreciated the catsuit. Now, as an adult, I can see how desperate they must have been for ratings. Having her wear a standard star fleet uniform with no rank pips would have made a lot more sense, and it would have been a lot more dignified.
Also, hotter.
I'm not a fan of the catsuits. Not nearly as flattering as they were intended. Seriously, I've seen better body paint than some of those costumes.

If it were today, they would have used body paint and buffed out the nipples and other details in post-production. That's assuming they could get away with it, which they probably could.

Teacake said it better but I will also add I liked her Borg drone look. Even though I was thinking wow...I didn't know boobs were relevant to Borg hahaha. What sort of insulted me was in Unimatrix zero they didn't beautify Janeway or Torres. As I type this I am beginning to think rather than do an Ode to Locutus lazer thingy they should have mirrored the Queen. Perhaps shake Janeway a little or seven with that. More poignant perhaps.
I think it is sweet how the Borg have all different kinds of fashions, not just one look.

Posting picture annoys me, but really where do they draw the line with pictures being too sexy now?
