I heard the TARDIS say "I love you" on Confidential.
She said it on the aired show too.

Doors opening inward seemed reasonable on the assumption that it would make it harder for a criminal to break out (e.g., they'd be pushing out on doors that open in), but that makes more sense.
Police boxes were not used (AFAIK) for the storage of criminals - they were a communications hub for officers.
I thought they were used as both. Handcuff them inside until they can be picked up.
The remaining police boxes in Edinburgh are 'doublers', so perhaps there was room for detaining a person.
Also keep in mind this was the first and only time House tried to steal a TARDIS rather than eat one. I'm sure the rest of the time he kept the Time Lords busy with some mindless chatter to give their TARDIS Matrices time to die, only to kill them once they had no means of escape. House's bad luck that he tried to take off with the Doctor's TARDIS before Idris was dead.
Wait... it's just occured to me... I researched blue police boxes, my PhD was about the relationship between Time and Space...
Maybe I have a fobwatch here somewhere....
When the episode opens for the first few seconds as the camera pans there is junk in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
To me it looks just like the enterprise until camera reaches a certain point and it clearly is just rubbish.
Anyone else see this?

Ha, I see what you mean. It looks like the original Enterprise.
Do mean this?

I'm nitpicking because, at the time I watched the episode, I got a kick out of how observant and clever it was. Then I thought about it some more and realized they'd made a mistake, and was disappointed. Nothing sinister, I just wish it had been correct.
And I saw him clicking his fingers when the door wouldn't open for him. He's done that at least twice that I can recall off the top of my headOr that he opens it with a click of his fingers, like in "Forest of the Dead"
