Re: 50 Shades Of Grey phenomenon? Mommy porn outsells Potter and Twili
ADDENDUM:
BTW, when I saw "Mommy porn" in the thread title, I thought it had something to do with incest. Oooooh, do I have a dirty mind!
Especially popular sex novels. Anyone here old enough to remember Naked Came the Stranger?. . . I'm starting to think it isn't that difficult to write popular novels.
And whips. And ropes, chains and handcuffs (don't forget my favorite part!)Eh, BDSM culture seems to employ a lot of leather.![]()
This has to be the best review of this book.

Or, as Jackson Browne once said: "Honey, let me introduce you to my redneck friend."Leaving aside whether or not this unexpected sight would be sexy (I can't be sure; it's only ever happened to me on public transport), let's examine what Christian says as he stands there, wanger in hand: "I want you to become well acquainted, on first name terms if you will, with my favourite and most cherished part of my body."
Most internet porn, whether fetish or plain vanilla, is made by and for men. I can see how an erotic literature series written with the female reader in mind would be popular. Although, after reading the review linked above, I do wonder what all the fuss is about.. . . I read the wiki article on the plot for both the main book and trilogy plans and just...this is outselling two major franchises? can't they just google some fetish porn?
ADDENDUM:
Ah, now I get it!This, I think, is the real 21st-century fantasy. That's the erotica. A masterful man who demands, constantly, that our heroine eats.
