Although I have not had time to do more than the tutorials, I downloaded POV-Ray. How easy is this program to use (tutorials are one thing, building up a starship is a whole other matter)?

My program of choice is 3ds max.... I would consider it to be the second best overall 3D graphics program with Maya being the best.

)backsides and update the FX on TOS just to see that beauty on the screen. When I saw the Defiant on ST:Ent and the Enterprise on DS9, my jaw dropped. You just can't get a feel for how beautiful that ship is when half a nacelle was cut off due to poor compositing.
