Spoilers 31st/32nd Century Ships Revealed

Maybe we ought to go with "KSF" being an abbreviation of something from Kelpien language after all, barring any additional info from the production team on Twitter or elsewhere?

So far there’s no indication that 32nd century Starfleet uses Tardis tech. That was only shown in ENT.

Well, if they never say that they don't use it, then we can just assume that all ships and stations are using TARDIS tech constantly, and all questions about internal dimensions have an easy answer.

Then why would ships and space stations need to be huge on the outside? Why aren’t all 32nd century ships the size of cars if they are all dimensionally transcendental?

Imagine if the new USS Enterprise was the size of toyota corolla

So now we have a reference to a “Wanderer Class”, although the flotsam to which the name was assigned seemed unidentifiable to me. Maybe others will have more luck figuring it out.

We have more decent blurry/blue images of ships. I was really hoping the one on the right said USS Dong :D

It's a pity StarTrek.com isn't posting drawings of the ships and their registries like they did for the Battle at the Binaries fleet.

Other than the USS Song, and the Wanderer-class mention, do we learn anything new shipwise in the latest ep?

Indirect things, mostly. Such as there being no observable drop in ship density at HQ even when lots of ships are off to Kaminar...

Isn't USS Song basically like USS Smith? That is, there are certain to be important Smiths around (say, Jefferson Randolph and Charles Kingsford), but probably at least a hundred million relevant Songs to choose from.

TrekCore proposes that the Wanderer class is the same as the Orion Wanderer-class blockade runner from FASA and early TNG.
That's plausible. The Emerald Chain is Orion-dominated, and the given the post-Burn conditions in the galaxy, a blockade runner would be a handy vehicle for a Courier to get around.

Alternatively, it could just have been a throw-away line.
