Well, if they never say that they don't use it, then we can just assume that all ships and stations are using TARDIS tech constantly, and all questions about internal dimensions have an easy answer.
Then why would ships and space stations need to be huge on the outside? Why aren’t all 32nd century ships the size of cars if they are all dimensionally transcendental?
Imagine if the new USS Enterprise was the size of toyota corolla
You wouldn't want everything to be "Larger on the Inside" if there is a energy cost to maintaining said effect.

Isn't USS Song basically like USS Smith? That is, there are certain to be important Smiths around (say, Jefferson Randolph and Charles Kingsford), but probably at least a hundred million relevant Songs to choose from.

TrekCore proposes that the Wanderer class is the same as the Orion Wanderer-class blockade runner from FASA and early TNG.
That's plausible. The Emerald Chain is Orion-dominated, and the given the post-Burn conditions in the galaxy, a blockade runner would be a handy vehicle for a Courier to get around.

Wow... It would be interesting if the show runners gave FASA legitimacy in the Trek world after all these years (albeit highly improbable).
Why do ships still use lights to illuminate the names when they could just have light up names
They already used FASA's co-ordinates for Talos IV in season two.
