2021 books announced

Well, Mike McMahon has already said that...

Boimler's transfer will not be undone and that Riker will be recurring next season.

yeah but there is a six year gap between when Brad got transferred and the events of this book so hopefully between 2380 and 2386 Mariner doesn’t stick her nose and cause boomler (that’s what Riker called him lol) to lose it.

We saw a Saurian with three pips sitting there. Maybe Vale went to the bathroom?

Or she could be on vacation, as she may or may not have been during Nemesis.

I’m hoping this Saurian has the same personality as Linus. He’s awesome and probably would be portrayed by David Benjamin Tomlinson on screen as well

It's so weird that we've gone from every kind of alien being played by the same handful of people to the different individuals of each kind of alien played by the same actors. I can see the how same production realties influenced both practices, but it still feels strange for every Andorian and Tellarite to have the same voice and bone structure as every other Andorian and Tellarite. And you never see two of them in the same room together.

The USS Titan launched after "Nemesis".

Several Romulans in TOS also played Vulcans in TOS... because the ear moulds were already made.

Riley Gilchrist has now played three Andorians (and one of those character's Mirror Universe counterpart) across three seasons. If the appliance fits... (But he didn't play every Andorian in the recent season premiere. Just one of them, AFAIK, the Andorian Regulator.)

Let's bear in mind it's also entirely possible that
Christine was the XO of the Titan during the time of LD but that she was off-ship for some reason or other.

But according to the novels, she was serving on the Enterprise at the time of Nemesis. :)
The A Time To... novels had Vale going on vacation after “War/Peace”. That book led into Nemesis. So while she was on the staff of the Enterprise, she was also off ship, and was ordered to report before hand to the Titan after her vacation.

Or this Saurian could be the beta/gamma shift watch commander and still be on duty for a second shift because of Saurian sleep cycles.

Or maybe Vale transferred off. The canon timeline has to diverge from the Titan novels sometime before Destiny, since the events of Destiny don't happen and Riker & Troi have a son instead of a daughter. And "No Small Parts" is about 5-6 months after Sword of Damocles and 2-3 months before Destiny by my reckoning. (The stardates of episode 8 would put it in October 2380 by the usual scheme, and Lower Decks is very TNG-influenced so it stands to reason that the finale is toward the end of the year. So "Parts" would have to be November or December '80.)

I was also referencing how more recent novels have said that she actually was on the Enterprise during NEM, just off-screen.
