Some thoughts on today's Memorial Day Baseball (Which I've been following either by listening to the games or watching):
-Posey is out for the year, which sucks. Hopefully he can make a great 100% recovery and be ready for 2012.
-Giants looked alright today, from Torres slam to Mad Bum absolutely getting it done. I've got a feeling he's finding his stuff because after starting the season 0-6, he's been on a roll lately. Hopefully it continues and that win/loss record improves.
-What is up with the D-Backs. I'm listening to their game tonight against the Marlins and they sound like they are playing perfect baseball. They're getting it done with the long ball, fundamentals, and like the announcers were saying, taking advantage of opportunities that are given.
-Good for Rayes for getting that elusive win. 28 starts with no win is not good, no matter what team you're on or how you are.
-A's crashed back down to earth today. Who would have though "Big Fat" Bartolo Colon would have a game like he had today. Hopefully the A's take at least one game in this series.
-Not really liking the Memorial Day attire. I know it's all marketing, but I wish the flag logo (Which I really like) was just integrated into the original uniform.
