The binge model is simply not sustainable any longer.I disagree with that mentality. They are providing a service that the customer pays for and the customer should not feel indebted to "binge" a show just because they want to see it renewed. Netflix needs to rethink their business model if they don't want to sink their own ship. I'd suggest a month out campaign where many people opt out of the service on the same day for a two week or even a month would be a more effective way of speaking out.
People will sign up for a month to watch "Stranger Things" or "Wednesday" and then cancel.
Furthermore, the binge model doesn't give a quality show time to build word of mouth or become a "water cooler" show. People watch it over a weekend and forget about it.
If something like "Seinfeld" had been released on "Netflix" it wouldn't have made it to a second season.
