13's Outfit revealed!

Well, they "tailored" Peter Davison's pants when Colin Baker took over... By cutting it down the back and widening the waist. I guess there's precedent. ;)

But did Peter Capaldi wear a belt with his ensemble? Sure, Jodie Whittaker's five inches shorter, but would it not do for one episode to tighten up a few notches and roll up the pant legs?

TV is about creating illusion. I assume they'd try to make the trousers look too big for the Thirteenth Doctor while still being convenient and comfortable for Jodie Whittaker to wear for however many hours she might need to spend filming the scene.

Jodi spotted wearing the 12th doctors costume

Great, I shared that to Tumblr, and it got me a DCMA takedown on Tumblr, which turns out to be the second one this year - apparently sharing the ABC Who trailer in March got one, which I didn't know about, and a warning a third within 18 months will get my account terminated. Oh joy. So much for cheerfully publicising this Dr Who shit.

The person with the actionable copyright claim would be the person who took thr picture, as he or she would have the automatic copyright. If the Beeb issued the DMCA request, then they abused and misused the law.

Looks like it was the photographer, Polly Thomas, who's a pro in Cardiff, - I'd assumed, seeing it here, that it was taken by a fan who'd tweeted it.

The trailer one (falling foul f the time difference between Australia and the UK on an embargo) apparently is the copyright of a Marcin Przasnyski - but the only person of that name I can find is a Polish web entrepeneur who's fuck all to do with either BBC or ABC. And of course since Tumblr have already listed it as "uncontested" (cos I never say the fucking email at the time) it's too late to counter it now by pointing out that this is very unlikely to be the actual copyright holder.

Chibnall seems to be running a tighter production.

-Tighter security
-I.D cards
-Intentional mistakes in the script.

This isn't a "Star Wars" movie or Speilberg movie though.

I remember when Moffat said he was shocked a photo of him was taken and instantly uploaded to twitter on the very spot he stood.

It was when they were filming around the location for "Time of the Angels"

"Page doesn't exist"

You didn't miss anything. The summary in Samurai8472's post covered the main details of what looked like a screenshoted forum post. (OG, maybe?) The one thing it said at the end, which seems to be the reason it was deleted is that the BBC was party responsible for getting pictures yanked off the 'net, when the issue with the picture that was blocked is that the photographer hadn't authorized it for release.

Wait, I thought he was done with Doctor Who?

Are you telling me Ian Levine lied so he could whine and complain some more?!

I think we all know that Levine is going to be hate-watching Doctor Who, just so he can splutter in rage every week. I'm not sure that's wise for a man who nearly died from a stroke a year, year and a half ago, but that's his choice.

I do wish Levine would be more creative in his insults. He's so basic and vanilla it's disappointing.

It isn't even a specific criticism of the costume, just a generic ad hominem attack. He could've written that tweet months ago and programmed a bot to send off in response to any news that came along. It's just empty noise.

Honestly, I'm not digging the new outfit. Just the whole ensemble feels a little two "1980s" coloring. I was hoping for something a little more "business-stylish"; I guess I got used to seeing the Doctor wearing a suit.

Still if the show is good, I"ll watch.
