‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

Well, rumor has it Wonder Woman is actually Kryptonian now (and weaker than Superman)
That was just speculation on the part of Jett at Batman on Film. Most of what he said was just speculation, but it got picked up by other outlets as if he was passing along inside information.

That is true about Jett speculating, but remember the empty stasis chamber in the Kryptonian ship? Wasn't there a comic spin-off which had Supergirl as the former occupant of it (or maybe it was her ancestors?)?

Could it be that the film version will instead reveal that the person who left that chamber instead was the founder of Amazonian society?

Good thing that movies are not beholden to tie-in comics. Looking at YOU Star Trek 09 and ID.

If they do choose to make WW a descendant of I'd be ok with it. The warrior culture of the Amazon's and the all women society can remain untocuhed. All that would change would be where their powers come from. Classic WW and the amazon's receiving their powers through Divine Empowerment (rom Athena, Hestia, Demeter, Artemis, and Aphrodite. New52 WW be is the natural born daughter of Zeus and Hippolyta. Making her a demigod like Perseus, Achilles, and Hercules. A new adaptation of WW being kryptonian descendant isn't the worst thing in the world.

WW a Kryptonian descendant? Dwayne Johnson as GL? Are there any positive rumors?

I know that many people didn't love Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern. But why recast that role? Hal Jordan is still the preeminent Green Lantern. If the studio has social concerns about the lack of racial diversity in the Justice League then they should just say so.

Hulk has been recast twice now in recent years. No actor is important enough not to get recast, especially after a flop movie.

Who says they even want to go with the Green Lantern Mythos as set up in that film? Easier to start from scratch.

Is it just me or does the Corben of those scans look like Kevin Bacon?

It's not just you.

That would be an interesting twist, but I'd still prefer something a little closer to the comics. Also, who knows when that stasis chamber opened. It might have only opened after Clark activated the ship.

From Badass Digest:

Latino Review is reporting that Justice League will follow Batman vs Superman... immediately. Like, they'll shoot the films back-to-back. BvS will end on a cliffhanger that will be resolved in the next film, possibly coming in 2016.

This makes a lot of sense and puts a lot of things into perspective. It definitely helps us understand why there are so many character names being thrown around for Batman vs Superman. I was recently told by a very, very trusted source that the role Jason Momoa was up for (but is currently denying) is definitely Aquaman, but it's essentially a cameo setting up the next movie. Momoa's denials today could just be a smokescreen intended to protect the surprise nature of the cameo, although if the films are shooting back-to-back we'll know soon enough.

I trust Latino Review's sources on this one, and even if the movies don't shoot exactly back-to-back The Hobbit style (they clearly are not because they didn't shoot the Hobbit movies in chronological order, but rather as one big movie) I think that they'll roll almost right into Justice League. But who will direct? Zack Snyder will likely be tied up in post on Batman vs Superman; will the break be long enough for him to finish the movie or will a new director take the reins?
Some sites are speculating that Ben Affleck will direct Justice League since Snyder will likely be too busy with post-production to move on to another film so quickly. It's all just rumor for now. If there's truth to it we should know pretty soon.

Yeah maybe it is desperation, but at least we're finally getting to see all these other DC characters on the big screen at long last.

And WB is starting so far behind that it's probably for the best that they jump straight ahead to the Justice League movie. That's the one people really want to see, after all.

I don't know if this is a good idea or it's gonna go down in flames, but I'm definitely on board for the ride!
