You all do realize that the title card won't even be shown in the film until it's over

On Goyer: Yeah, those comments about fandom are not going to digest well.

On the probable placement of the title card: Well, given the level of brand recognition in play here, do they really need to put titles at the front end of this movie? At all?

    Aren't Hulk and She-Hulk cousins?

That's an absolutely terrible movie title...

...which will not affect my enjoyment of the film one iota! ;)

"Dawn of Justice" sounds like a typical Steven Seagal movie.

And it's Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Are there going to be other Batman vs. Superman sequels?

IIRC, She-Hulk is the last character at Marvel actually created by Stan Lee. If so, I can see some fairly embarrassing press for Goyer in the future if Lee and/or Marvel want to turn this into "WB writer attacks beloved 90 year old dean of comic book creators."

Clark has danced with She-Hulk once. Avengers v1 #325

He bumped in to Thor also. Thor was attempting a glasses disguise Nick Fury suggested. The Mighty Thor #341

That's odd, because versus is Latin for "against" or "opposing." The archaic convention was to use Latin abbreviations for words but pronounce the English equivalents aloud -- for instance, "viz." should be read aloud as "namely." I expect that "etc." used to be an abbreviation that was meant to be read aloud as "and so on." So if "v./vs." were to be pronounced as anything other than "versus," I'd expect it to be "against."

I've never been a fan of wordy movie titles. I'm not sure why they decided to convey so many ideas in the title when everyone who really cares about seeing this movie knows what it is about.

As to Batman being first in the title, I can just image what word of mouth will sound like if the movie is good.

"Have you seen the Batman movie yet?"

Oh, so now the co-writer of the batman movies I hate and the a superman movie I disliked has just called literally my favorite comic book superhero/heroine a green pornstar for the Hulk? Wow, I never felt much hatred for Goyer like I do Nolan (I did like his Blade movies) but he's definitely an a-hole. The second comment was also really stupid. I wonder why this a-hole even writes superhero movies if he says this kind of stuff. I've said a lot of bad things about people like Nolan, but at least he hasn't (to my knowledge) said anything like this. :vulcan:

I should clarify - it's 'and' when used in a civil context (which Superman v Batman would be) but 'against' in a criminal context (R v The Joker). But never 'V' or 'versus.'

^And "R" is a Latin abbreviation for "the Crown," i.e. what Americans call "the State"? (At first I thought you meant "Robin vs. the Joker.")

You wouldn't think he'd want to piss where he sleeps. He probably thought it was funny but you'd think a guy whose bread and butter is in making comic book movies wouldn't want to alienate his audience.

He was probably emulating Shatner's famous 'get a life' skit from SNL. Forgetting, probably, that while we now look back and laugh at it, the Shat did get a lot of flak for it at the time.

Ha, I never thought of the Robin logo! Yes, R stands for Regina, or, the Crown.

I don't think Goyer was joking. It sounds like he's never actually read a She-Hulk story, that he's only vaguely heard of the character and has no idea what he's talking about.

Maybe not about She-Hulk but I think the MM comment was just a bit of clumsy humour. Anyway, when did not knowing about something stop people from making jokes or pontificating about it?!
