WANT DVD NOW!!!
I adore STXI and I've seen it 18 times. Would have gone more but RL can be a bitch. I want an anotated script too. They did some really lovely writerly stuff.
Spock's pinkness is really noticable in the turbo lift against Uhura's skin.
Er, for some values of really noticable since I 'd seen STXI at least a dozen times before I noticed it. But once I saw it, it's really obvious.
Tonight was the last showing anywhere within 50 miles so I skipped dinner and went.
Harry Potter is in seven theaters at midnight.
/signed/ 18 times and sorry to be done
What you're describing sounds like an excellent basis for a weekly series.
STXI+1 won't have time for ~anything~ complex and multi-faceted. For better or worse, Trek is now a big budget summer movie series with fresh Trek in a single two hour chunk every couple of years. That has a huge...
Not going to happen.
I don't know what JJA will do, but I guarantee this cast will be the central focus of whatever it is. He's not going to follow the reboot of Kirk & Spock & McCoy & Enterprise 1701 with a movie based on the Romulans.
Yeah, I wouldn't trust the Romulans.

June 30th is still four times.
July 1st though July 9th is twice a day.
I think Pine comes across as more serious, and Quinto is a little goofier and dresses dorkier. So yeah, me too.
Pine is the first actor I've ever heard answer a multiple choice question by saying "the latter."
I love their interviews. They really play off each other. Much fun. Also an interesting look into how they analyze the process of acting.
Have you seen the great interview on Quinto's website? He's got it titled the "bromance" interview :)
I don't think she was the shuttle pilot. She sounded to me like a flight attendent. I assumed Pike was the shuttle pilot because it's his voice we hear. Rats, the book doesn't say either way and Pike's announcement isn't even in the book.
Edited after reading thread: Okay, flight officer...
What You Said.
Spock is just barely functioning and hanging on by his fingernails when he leaves the bridge. Unless they were already together, I just can't see Uhura going after Spock into the turbolift and touching him.
Also, Spock's body language and expression when he says he didn't...
