Falling Skies Season 4 discussion thread - Spoilers

Aw. poor Lourdes. I liked her, even if the writers screwed up her character. :(

So now the aliens are personified by the scarred Esphani, and a war with a faceless enemy has become a personal grudge match between him and Tom. No doubt the series finale will involve a man-to-man showdown between the two.

Maybe in the series finale Tom can challenge the Espheni overlord to a Dance Off. With a great comeback, involving some long forgotten 80s breakdance moves, Tom wins the competition and the embarassed, defeated aliens leave Earth forever!!!

Id like to know how much of this season is due to David or the previous show runner. because this has Davids name all over it and it smells very bad.

Figures that a decent show would survive just long enough to nosedive into a tangled mess of plot holes and bad characterization.

Tom's a historian. He'd go for the Disco moves. :mallory:

It's all David Eick's. Besides the baby aging thing, which the old guy did without having a plan. Blame that on what's her name.

Um, thing glows blue, they look up at the moon. I don't get it. What did they see? I even rewinded the scene and looked. Just looked like a normal moon. It wasn't even obscured by a cloud or anything.

In V, she was the Mother of all Star Babes!

They wasted an entire episode with two guys in a hole talking about people that died 5 years ago.

I'm pretty sure I could edit the current 4 seasons into a fantastic 2 hour movie.

There was the tiniest of blue dots on the moon when the blue light first...lit. It was either a reflection or a response signal.

I had to look up what happened on line.

Looked again and then still had trouble seeing it.

I may be slightly colour blind.

I was going to say that man can't fight on the moon, and then I remembered the Volm can take Tom Mason to the moon to fight.

I'm telling you, it was tiny. I had the benefit of a fifty-inch flatscreen and 20/20 vision and I still almost missed it.

I'm 61 yrs old and nearsighted and I had no problem seeing it on my little tv. Looked like it was a signal to something or someone on the moon. It's getting difficult to care about it at this point, though. They seem to be taking a long time and getting no further. The Lexi storyline is annoying.

That was the second time somebody saw a flicker of light on the Moon.

So now Maggie has three of Ben's spikes. Does that mean that she can be controlled now, too, or that Ben can no longer be controlled? Maybe they can now gang up on Lexi using some kind of psychic feedback.

Or, maybe Maggie just starts shacking up with middle brother while big brother goes off and broods...

There was a point in X-Men Comics where Cyclops thought that he was dreaming about shtupping Psylocke, when really he was having an affair with one telepath while being married(?) to a different telepath who definitely thought of psisex as way more intimate than regular sex, which is why she really spit her dummy after she got hip to the situation.

Point is that the identical radio connection between them is going to mean that they can teleconference like those two Espeni could the other day, and once they're inside each others heads, it's only a matter of time until they're in each others head pants, and then actual pants.

While she was laying on the table... I thought the Spikes were going to remove her tattoo.

:)

Is that a real tattoo or stage make-up?
