The Originals Season 2

They held their The Originals the panel at SDCC today, and also released the season2 trailer.
I loved season 1, but based off of the trailer it looks like season 2 could be even better.

I especially loved Rebekah's bed time story for the baby (did she get a name in the finale?) as a recap.

It's going to be weird hearing Phoebe Tonkin and Claire Holt using their American accents again. I've been watching the Australian series they did together, H20: Just Add Water, so I've gotten used to their Aussie accents.

(Yet a part of me would like that atleast one or two people who died would stay dead.)

What really is annoying though is that Claire Holt did the industry thing where she said she was leaving the show to go home and be with her family because she missed them - and now she's just been cast in a new NBC series. Meaning the rumors were likely true that she was unhappy on TO for whatever reason.

I know once her new series gets canceled it will mean she can return to TO as a regular (much as a certain also supposedly unhappy TVD former regular left the show and is now returning - yay!).

Although if it means we can maybe somehow get Kol back together with his family on TO (since his other pilot wasn't picked up), then I will be a happy camper and that will do until Rebekah inevitably returns.

And JD, yes, the baby was given the perfect name in the season finale: Hope. <3
