‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

Well I was talking more about textures. There's obviously tons of different designs out there they could go with.

It's not about the suit. I'm sick of these little bumps on the suit that make no sense except to make it look better in HD.

With Reeve's Superman, they kept the classic costume.. it might have looked silly that he was wearing undies around his pants, but guess what, it was never actually silly.

It was all about how Reeve carried himself. He imagined he was wearing a three-piece suit and carried himself accordingly. He walked proudly, heroically. That counted more than the silliness of the trunks

Some pics of the Returns suit.

I actually really liked the SR suit. The only thing that really bugged me about Routh's Supes was his silly hairstyle and blue contacts.

I actually like the idea behind the New 52 suit. It's Kryptonian armour keyed to his DNA. It would make a cool visual on screen when he activates it.

I find it odd that Goyer didn't explain in the script how he got that suit. It looked like Kal and Jor walked by a window to a clothes shop and there it was at the window"Looks good, son. You want it?"

Yeah I think the assumption we're supposed to make is the ship created it on the spot per Jor-El's instruction, or simply modified one of the standard gray suits to look a bit flashier. But it probably could have been explained a bit better.

If better cast, with better hair and some slight alterations (IE not S symbol belt buckle and darker colours), the SR suit could have worked.

Add a tighter first act, and trim an hour of it's 2 hour and 40 minute run time. Then SR could've been a success.

Maybe not a full hour, but bringing it in at 2 hours might ahve been better.

As for casting, I can't imagine a better Reeve lookalike than Routh.

I wasn't crazy about the SR suit, but that's just me. With a few minor changes it could have been perfect.

I think Clark should have been even stronger physically than he was when he left five years earlier. At least, that's what what my fan brain says. Maybe he was, and that's why he was able to lift the Kryptonite island after being stabbed with the shard by Luthor. Maybe he was developing an immunity by being in space all that time. I don't know, just spitballing.

I felt let down by the movie initially, but after watching again several times recently, it's not as bad as I remembered. It did seem to lack the heart of the first two, but it's tough to catch lightning in a bottle. Even harder to do with a completely new cast.

Why would he have been stronger? He had left out star system to return to Krypton to investigate it. If anything, he should have been much weaker.
