I loved the Avatar books (I actually read them together in Twist of Faith).
It felt like the perfect continuation to the the TV show, which I felt had ended unresolved.
It's also the book that motivated me to start reading all the other Star Trek books. Which is a decision I was very happy I made. So I suppose it'll always have that special honour.
I think he's the only one that's a fully formed character in my head when I read about him.
Although there are a few others that are getting there.

I can definitely agree with that.Especially Vaughn. I don't think there's a single prose-only character I like as much as Vaughn.
