I'm still wondering why this Myriad Universe idea was even posted here, instead of as a single post in the already existing "What are your Myriad Universe ideas?" thread in the Fan Fiction forum.

^I know Melakon, you would think their would be some respect for the natural order of the universe but no, things keep ending up in the wrong handbasket.

Things were much easier in the olden days, when a bulletin board was on the wall of your office.

Just from the sheer tonnage, I probably have 100 grand worth of comic books in my bed room.

Last time I touched them was during a power cut.

I can't imagine going back to preinternet.

In the late 90s I was without a computer and the internet for 2 years. It was horrible, after at least having some type of computer since 1983.

I remember going mental when I was allowed to see War Games in 1983.

Which just confirmed that computers are not helpful.

They are insane maniacs waiting to strike!

They're going to take over the world and we'll all be walking around in a dreamlike state thinking of Landru and the Body. Then every few months it's FESTIVAL! FESTIVAL! for 12 hours until the system reboots and we do it all over again.

It's a beautiful sunny day here.

I guess I should go read the ENT forum.

    1. I didn't know that existed
    2. The point, now long since lost in chaos and anarchy in this thread I shall now abandon, was for a thorough discussion and fleshing out of a scenario and it's related alternate reality, consequences of the point-of-deviation, etc. That, rather than just a "hey, what about" which I wouldn't have an interest in. There's no point in me just saying that without any discussion to flesh it out.
What could become of Janeway, how the Enterprise would deal with him leaving and being lost, the replacement First Officer of the Enterprise and how the shuffle would affect things, the effect on the universe from there, how Riker would captain in the Delta quadrant instead, etc.

I do apologize for that. I wrote that post while in the middle of a 6 hour headache. I've since taken some nonprescription "medication" and watched that TOS episode with Dr. Sevrin in it, so I'm more mellow now.

I would gladly offer my firstborn male child for Emperor Norton's return, but first I'd have to find a girlfriend.

Well, the downside to that is I don't think my Medicare would cover maternity costs.

Warp 10. Lizard babies. Less incubation time, more offspring so giving one up won't be so difficult.

btw who is this baby being offered up to? Do we have Forum gods?

It's being offered to Emperor Norton if he comes back.

The only compromising problem is the name Emperor Norton sounds to me like something Ralph Kramden would say to his best friend, so I probably just ruined the offer right there.

Oh I'm sure it's not ruined, who wouldn't want a cute little lizard baby? Or, to be more accurate, salamander.

Well we still need a female volunteer. I nominate Kate Mulgrew, since she's already had experience at this sort of thing. Though she might be past child bearing age since she's 4 years younger than me. We could adopt.

Edit: Oh wait. We already fought over her and you beat me to death. With my own cane. I'll take Jeri Ryan instead.
