We finally got around to seeing these and without a doubt thought they were great. Here's hoping they pick the series up and it has a long run. There are so many locales in and around NOLA that it should continue to be very visually appealing for years. The chemistry between the principle cast looks good, and Bakula does a really good job being the leader of the bunch.

When you have a busy schedule sometimes it's hard to find time to watch tv shows when they're on and you a lot of work to do.

Consider getting yourself a PVR. One of the best things you can do for yourself. No worries about missing anything and you can buzz right through the commercials. That's how we watch most of our stuff now, including NCIS.:bolian:

A while back, they came up with something called "reruns".

Also, there's something called online streaming :p

Great news, the show was picked up by CBS! So assuming a fall launch, it won't be too long until the Bakulameister is back on our screens.

I wouldn't be surprised if they air this behind the flagship program on Tuesday and move NCIS: Los Angeles to a new night.

Very happy to hear Scott Bakula will be back! CBS is still the #1 broadcast network, yes? Yay, more viewers than ENT ever got. I am also hoping his show is given the slot after NCIS.

Yep, that's what happened. NCIS: New Orleans will be airing after NCiS on Tuesdays this fall. NCIS: Los Angeles has been moved to Monday.

I suppose the question is if they are going to actually film here in New Orleans full time, or just for the occasional exterior.

It'll be interesting to see what they do. Don't they film CSI in LA with the requisite Vegas insert shots?

I can't speak for CSI since I've never really followed those shows, but they film NCIS in LA and insert D.C. area shots when necessary. It's probably cheaper for them to do it that way, so I imagine New Orleans will do the same.

Would have been my guess, too, but just read an article that said they will be filming in NO. IMHO, that won't last...too expensive.

Btw...saw Scott at CBS Upfronts the other day. Looked GREAT. Took 'congrats on new show' humbly, per usual. Classy guy. Wish him lots of luck. Will certainly tune in...and love the accent he used in pilot!

Agents Gluttony and Sloth have yet to be cast.

Do the same tax breaks and incentives that are causing all these movies to shoot in Louisiana rather than California apply to TV shows as well? If so it might be financially viable.

It's hard enough trying to pass the woods of Southern California as rural Virginia. One would be delusional to do that for the bayous and swampy forests with pines and palmettos of Louisiana by filming just outside Malibu.
