Since the moderators have not deleted posts YOU believe to be spoiler content, you are creating phantom problems. All that you have done is flame members of a message board, which serves no purpose--other than revealing your hostile nature.

Ok the whole blatant posting comic spoilers B.S. needs to stop because no one is doing that, if it's stated "this is what happens in the comics" it's done with spoiler tags, there is no Terminus in the comic so there is nothing to spoil, the TV version of the story is adding new content.
As far as the spoiler tags go, It's on you to not be spoiled.

Bzzt. The Walking Dead did give a reason for the cause of the zombie plague. It was a virus, one that Jenner was aware of and was struggling to find a cure for, but realized there was no hope in doing so, hence his suicide plan that almost took out the entire group. In fact, it was a major story point in the show.

You know, as opposed to some random nutjob declaring "Venus probe radiation!!!" on a television no one was even paying attention to.

I do, because they have experience in doing so, and running into zombies is a fact of life on the show now.

Maybe you should go watch it again. Hell, let's look at a few recaps of it on the web.

    Wikipedia
"Radio reports explain that a state of mass murder is sweeping across the eastern United States."

    IMDB
"Radio reports explain that an epidemic of mass murder is sweeping across the eastern seaboard of the United States."

    Zombiepedia
"Radio reports explain that a state of mass murder is sweeping across the East Coast of the United States."

    Filmsite
"He flipped on the antique Zenith radio in the living room, and heard a reporter speak about the continuing crisis. [...] Eastern and Midwestern communities in the eastern third of the nation were affected, and citizens were encouraged to remain in their homes behind locked doors."

The spoiler was the "theory" (wink wink, nudge nudge) that the biker gang had "unusual appetites" (wink wink, nudge nudge) and might be interested in Beth for dinner in more ways than one (wink wink, nudge nudge). But, you know, that's not coming from the comics at all. That's 100% theory-crafting from the show.

True story. (wink wink, nudge nudge)

Even though there hasn't even been the slightest fucking indication of it whatsoever. But it's not a spoiler, man! Just an astute observer making totally random guesses based on the show and the show alone. For serious!

Well accept for the part where Barbara recaps the entire first part of the movie for us, or how continually Cooper rants about their being "millions of those things" being outside the house and they should all take shelter in the basement, or the musical-chairs operation between people staying upstairs or being downstairs with the child.

Hey, it's a good movie and I enjoy it but it's hardly perfect.

    Two other things:

    TREK_GOD LEARN TO MULTI-QUOTE!!!

With the numbers/overwhelming in TWD the "everyone has the disease" thing is the big wrinkle in it. We don't know how, or when, everyone got infected. Or what activated the disease if it's an underlying, genetic, condition.

Statistics estimate over 150,000 people die every day. So after ONE day 150,000 zombies exist. A person dies in a hospital, at home, in a field somewhere and they become a zombie. Now someone around those 150,000 people are not aware of what's going on and they all of the sudden get bitten/scratched or somehow injured before escaping, any attack they make on the zombie proves useless. Now you've got 300,000 zombies (or potential zombies) out there and then a day later you get 150,000 more.

After a week, two weeks it grows more and more insane as people continue to die of natural causes and reanimate, or people die from a zombie injury and reanimate.

Oh GAWD! In over 1,700 posts that's what you come up with?

If you'd like I can tell you EXACTLY what happens in the next episode.

Yes, because that's the one that was being discussed in regards to people spewing out spoilers

Well, I haven't read the comics so those spoilers are flying over my head (until people point out that they're spoilers).

And yet again (and again, and again), TrekGod1 ignores the other (and bigger) ppart of his rant, that they don't show you things actually went to hell. That's the bigger things that decreases the enjoyment of a Zombie movie.

So, yea, bitching about TWD not explaining where it came from or how things got out of hand, is just bitching for bitching's sake.

Regarding Comic Spoilers, there may be no place called Terminus in the comics, but, several times it's been pointed out, later in comics storyline, there is a place that Terminus is reminiscent of, therefore the "Theories" are based upon them moving that place forward in the storyline and renaming it Terminus. So, yea, it's is Spoilery, and shouldn't be dressed up as merely innocent speculation

How can any of us know what Terminus is reminiscent of, we haven't seen it yet and any towns that were mentioned were put in spoiler tags.

BTW I am completely caught up on the comic but even if I was watching just the show I would assume at one time or another we are going to see other pockets of survivors be it a Small camp or full blown town like Woodbury, how boring would that be if they didn't?

Those "wink wink nudge nudge" spoilers are still blatant spoilers.

Any speculation that turns out to be right can be considered spoilers in hindsight.

Because speculation based on whats actually shown is exacty like "speculation" based on reading the source material. Also, don't bother trying to copout on the cannibalism thing with a lame rationalization. Everyone knows where that "speculation" came from.

Keep thinking that. I never read the storyline in the comic but knew eventually we'd get something like it on the show for the reasons given above. The funny part is we still haven't seen cannibalism on the show.

Here's an idea. Maybe we need to all read the comics so we know what we're not allowed to speculate on in this thread.

If everything is so spoilery for you, your best bet might be to stay out of threads where people talk about what they think might happen on the show.

Seriously, how do you tell what's idle speculation and what's spoilers from the comics unless
    A. the person mentions they saw it in the comics
    or
    B. You already read it in the comics yourself?

It still doesn't guarantee that the "spoiler" will happen in the show.

Don't take me or anyone else for idiots. When you're posting about the prison (prior to the end of S2), the Governor (prior to S3),

Hunters, cannibals, the Alexandria safe zone, Nagel(sp)

It's obvious where it comes from.

(I think I've seen all of those mentioned here, some may have been elsewhere with spoiling idiots....but I'm not going to check 45 pages of this thread to verify)
