Supernatural Season 9 (Spoilers)

On a lighter note, the female actor who portrayed Vesta looked exactly like a Roman Goddess should look, especially during the two church scenes.
That was Lindy Booth. She played Sydney Fox's assistant on Relic Hunter.

As a pagan, i was appalled by this episode. Typical propaganda against us. I did not like the episode at all. Our Gods and Goddesses are important and scared to us. You may not believe but we do.
As opposed to the way they've treated the Christian religion?
A lot of shows could work Jesus into their mythology, like Stargate and this show, but don't.

They've had God, angels, demons, and even saints.

I thought this episode was fun.
As for Dean and the incident with the ex-pornstar, who's name I've forgotten, I really had no problem with it. She seemed perfectly willing, so I don't really see it as having taken advantage of her.

Finally got around to watching this.I enjoyed it, but had a mild freak out moment when I thought Jodie might die. I really like her---she's sort of the Bobby replacement---BobbyLite, if you will. "Don't get the door for me, or anything."

Sooo...now Zeke won't even let Dean tell Sam at ALL. Interesting. I do kinda wish they'd kick the angel plot into high gear; apparently, that will happen next episode.

Yeah, if Sam's liver, etc., are still held together with duct tape, it makes you wonder exactly what Zeke is doing in there.

So much for Zeke being one of the good guys. It looks like Castiel is the only decent angel on the show. And even Castiel ended up indirectly getting Bobby killed.

I've got no problem with Zeke or what he's doing. He's has to heal Sam which is going to take time and he can't risk being kicked out. I like how Supernatural Wikia has him down as "Angelic Pacemaker".

I thought they'd take a break from the arc with the most recent episode, so it came as a pleasant surprise when we got some forward movement with Vesta's comment about his liver and at the end with Dean.

Yeah, I'm not seeing how "Zeke" is a bad guy just yet. He's naturally being defensive about his precarious position -- he needs Sam just as much as Sam needs him -- and he saw Dean making what he presumed to be a rash decision on the subject during a weak moment and he intervened to talk him out of it.

The "duct tape" line makes me wonder if Zeke is drawing energy from Sam rather than fixing him. I figured Zeke wanted to take over Sam's body for its stability (a human with the ability to hold an angel long-term) but perhaps Zeke wants some of that universe-shifting trial power and is sucking up Sam's life-force.

I love her. I'm she will be involved in the spin-off.

That would be great. I have to admit I hadn't thought of that, but I would love if it she was.

Kevin NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Did they really need to kill Kevin, or was just his eyes burnt out?

Kinda by the numbers episode and the sneek peek of the next episode kinda wraps everything up already.

Very good midseason finale. Poor Kevin. :( He did end up getting screwed, but can Dean do something to resurrect him, like what he did for Charlie when she was killed by the Wicked Witch?

There are evidently all kinds of angel factions vying for power. Now we know Ezekiel is not the one residing in Sam, but an angel named Gadreel, who now works for Metatron. Finally, Castiel does something useful on this episode.

Can't wait to see Crowley next time!

Kevin............fuck that was harsh! Ever since he became a prophet his life was just hell and now he's just dead. No heroic death just taken out just standing there. Damn, that's just messed up.

That was Zeke -- er, Gadreel -- who brought Charlie back, so I don't think that's going to happen. (Unless maybe Gadreel feels remorseful enough to do so later, but I doubt it.)

It's Gadriel, not Gadreel. You know, like Castiel, Uriel, Samadriel, Gabriel, or just about any other angelic name with a similar suffix.
