A few years old, but saw they added this sci-fi show to Netflix recently so I started watching it now. Anyone else watch this show? What did you think? Been watching Battlestar Galactica but needed a break from it.

I loved it. Its produced by Ira Steven Behr, one of DS9's producers. I liked the premise, but sadly the show was given a tiny budget, too few episodes and constantly threatened with cancellation. So Behr had to cut long stories short, cramp in everything and made sure everything was tied in a neat bow by the end of each season. It made the series simultaneously feel rushed and disjointed at the same time.

I didn't catch it until it came out on dvd. I've now got all the seasons and related novels. I enjoyed them.
I just watched it on Netflix recently. It's not perfect by any means, but I'll give the show props for not settling into the procedural pattern it very easily could have. After all, the central characters of the show are basically cops, and it could have very easily stayed in "4400 mystery of the week" territory through its run, but instead they decided to shake things up pretty regularly.
I guess I shouldn't say too much about specifics since the OP is currently watch it, but I thought it had a great ending.

I stayed up til 5AM watching it! I think it's awesome so far. Finished the first season.

I found a copy of the Rocketeer a while back and double taked when the young crisp clean shaven hero walked on set.
I loved the show when it was on, but I'm watching it again on Netflix too, and it just doesn't have the same magic.
There were a couple of episodes I had to watch in multiple sittings due to boredom.

A few years back, I found the series DVD sets for sale at a Blockbuster store relocation. They were goin' to a smaller store, and had to sell off inventory, so I got the five seasons for pretty cheap.
Got some friends into the show through the DVDs, and sold 'em off to them, since they didn't have any other way to watch it.
I haven't read the post-finale novels, mostly 'cause I can't find 'em anywhere.

He was also TNG's "The Outrageous Okona", in case you didn't know.
Amazon has them through third party sellers, but the last time I looked, they were pretty expensive, which is why I've been holding off.
That is really awesome that you were able to write novels for all of those great shows, including The 4400!!
I majored in English and Creative Writing and I want to write a novel one day. One day... D:
