‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

So... which one's Superman and which one's Batman?

There's a long history in the comics of Batman and Superman swapping places...

If anything I think it strengthens his candidacy.

The scene at the end will totally have someone try to take down Supes with Kryptonite, only to have it be Batman in disguise. :rommie:

Kryptonite is boring.

Batman should use magic to take him out.

Start with some card tricks and then make his fortress of solitude disappear.

What do you guys think of Tyler Hoechlin from Teen Wolf as Batman? The thought crossed my mind while I was watching Monday's episode earlier today.

I don't know. He used to date Lady Gaga and she's a gay icon, so Bad Bishop probably wouldn't approve...

And, honestly, even if the usual suspects (A Million Pissed-Off Moms, etc.) tried to make an issue of some actor being gay, they have no real power anymore--and little or no impact on the box office.

If a gay man were to be cast as Batman, the reaction will be exactly the same as when Laurence Fishburne was announced as Perry White: Fringe websites like Freep and Stormfront will lose their shit, a small subset of people on sites like Trek BBS will complain about pandering and "stunt casting," and then a week later no one will give a hoot.

Sounds about right.

Watching bigots lose their stuffing for a few weeks in yet another futile panic sounds rather entertaining.

I loved the episode of Drew Carey where Drew wins (Val Kilmer's) Batmobile off a scratcher ticket... But he loses it after breaking the morals clause in the sales docket by having sex with his girlfriend (Mmmm big fat Kate Walsh.) in the Batmobile while parked in a public park.

"Morals clause?! God lord, Batman kept a small boy locked in a cave!"

There have been a lot of good Batman candidates mentioned so far. I would probably be happy with most of them.
