If anyone here collects scripts, I'd love to pick your brain on how to tell if I have the real thing with one I am considering purchasing....seems to me if would be quite easy to reproduce, etc.
Advice Needed on Script Authentication

By no means would I claim to be an expert, but it strikes me that an episode or movie script is a fairly common thing. The originals are mass produced and distributed among all the actors, producers, directors and what not after all. Not to mention, I'd also be wary of someone just downloading a script from the internet, printing it out, binding it up nicely and passing it off as legit. So unless it has hand written notes from some actor or director or something that can definitively tie it to someone, I'd not get into it a lot of money.
Yes, I agree. That is part of my reservation. I was considering it as a possible piece to have autographed later, for which I suppose a copy would work fine, since it's the autograph that will be the cool part, not the thing it's written on. But I definitely will not be willing to sink too much money into it.
