Rewatching Star Trek Enterprise

Funny, I feel this way about DS9 but I know everyone else in the world loves it; that's cool. I enjoy "Enterprise" and if I'm honest; it is my second favorite Trek after TOS (although I do enjoy TNG & Voyager).

Though the really, REALLY funny thing is that those who proclaim to like "Enterprise" disqualify their opinions from serious consideration by virtue of their self-evident lack of discernment. It's sort of like having a person who likes the smell of poo help you pick out your perfume/cologne.

I kid. I kid.

Well, kinda. :p

Try to read my mind; I bet you can!

To each his own; the difference is that I'm no troll, not ragging on your bad taste, lack of discernment and pathetic bad manners!

I kid, I kid,

Well, kinda, :p
GFY

BTW, after reading through all of your post; not a very good start with your membership here, IMO. We all get it; you don't like "Enterprise" now please go away and let the adults have a conversation.

I think it all may sound funnier in your head than it actually is.
I agree and feel like his name should be Troll Ace based on his postings in this sub forum.

Or the Ace is with a short A and the E is silent.

How nice, a forum dedicated to the principle of "Do as I say and not as I do." ;)

Several posts in a row of personal attacks unchallenged and without moderation ... interesting. :wtf:

There's no reason Trip couldn't have spent the whole series in the blue underwear.

Yes there is. I have no desire to be struck blind by the sight of THAT.

Now, if we're talking T'Pol and Hoshi, then I'd say that they'd be overdressed in the blue underwear.

SEVERLY overdressed.

All right, I apologize. I've not had the right balance of caffeine and nicotine yet today.

Why would you be struck blind? Do you really find Trip in his blue underwear unappealing? I understand if you don't find anything there to be attracted to but repulsed??

There are girls in this too, but you might have to cover your eyes during the Trip parts.

Gentlemen, you all know better than to stoop to this. Does everybody want a warning to call their very own? I really don't like handing them out, but I will if this keeps up. No more, please.

Considering the way you've been misbehaving in this forum for the past several days, I don't think you're in a strong position to scold, sport.

Remarkably, it appears you're all holding hands and singing around the campfire now. Please don't let this be a passing fancy.

Hey, if you can express interest in a man in his underwear, then I can express interest in women in theirs.:bolian:

It's a fair point to make. Why not just have some buff man walking around shirtless all the time. That's the same sexist logic of the catsuits.

Seven of Nine was an interesting character, but the catsuit really distracted from her.
Leeta was just a bimbo in revealing clothing and Quark made no qualms about it.
T'Pol was just a wooden Vulcan who's catsuit failed to compensate for lack of personality.

Personally I'd rather have a fat person in a burlap sack who's interesting than a hot person who brings little to the episode beyond their looks.

Gerry Anderson's old UFO series did something like that. Aboard the Skydiver submarine vehicle, barechested men wore revealing skintight fishnet shirts. Women wore the fishnet shirts too, but they had bras underneath, which I always cursed as a cheat.

Something I really appreciated about Stargate. Lots of very interesting characters who were also interesting looking but not traditionally hot.

When I watch Trek, I'm out for some scifi... if I wanted hotties, I'd go to a porn site. :p

Porn wasn't as readily available when I was growing up so Sherry Jackson's camel toe was a Godsend! :techman:

Dear God, do you hate yourself that much?!?! Self-flagellation would be far less painful than suffering through a Jolene Blalock performance. They should have named her character T'Pu (pronounced "T"-poo ).

Why do you try to keep crapping on something someone else enjoys? If you dislike the series that much, why waste so much time in this particular forum?

Because I am still trying to work through the pain and emotional scarring left in the wake of the crap-fest known as "Enterprise" and the Jolene Blalock induced tinnitus that has her raspy, cokehead-like voice still lingering in my ears. Every episode of this stinker seemed to restate the Horta-ish message, "No thrill I."

As of tonight, I have now started Season 3!!!:)
