I used my mother's credit card to purchase BSG playing cards and a Portal turret flashlight for my Christmas gifts, and then I bought a BSG tanktop since it was on sale and I'm weak.
 
A little weakness now and then is a luxury we ought to be able to afford, imho. It can work miracles on one's moral.

Thanks, it's actually quite old, the house was built in 1907 or 1913 (I don't remember which) - The indoor wet-rooms were added along the way :p
 
Well done on the house acquisition trekkiedane; didn't spot the news when I glanced through the thread yesterday. :techman:

I managed to track down the jumper I was looking for upthread by making a few phonecalls, and even identified a backup option online, should it not quite work out, so I'm a happy consumer today. :D

The hand brake on my bike had worn through my half-finger gloves in a couple of places so I was quite happy today when I saw these in a window that I had to get two pairs:

First season of This Week In Baseball on DVD

A couple of Blu-Rays: Dick Tracy (the Warren Beatty film) and the Qatsi trilogy (which I am VERY excited about)
 
Christmas gifts. A big book for my Dad's wife, and a bookstore gift card for my stepsister. And another gift card for my nece.

Wrapping paper. Cards. Etc.

Registration and hotel reservation for the Fourth Chordoma Community Conference in Boston in March. An international conference of patients, families/friends, doctors, scientists, etc. interested in the rare cancer that's messed up the last couple years of my life.
